Spending more than a decade treating and caring for dialysis patients, baking and the beach was an outlet for me. My mom, owner of Your Delight LLC, baked cakes for years. She would whip up a cake with no measurements within a blink. I was so impressed with her ability to not measuring and creating a scrumptious gift in her and my father's gas oven. However, the whole process of cake baking was too much for me! I could not follow her footsteps with this one. There’s the cake, then take it out of the pan, let it cool, then use the homemade frosting -aahhh  Just too freaking much!!  With a cookie, just scoop the dough, put it in the oven, take it out and EAT it! LOL

Then there’s my other love... CHOCOLATE- thanks to my father! Chocolate makes everything better especially when it’s incorporated with a cookie OMG!!! Miami and Fort Lauderdale also have my heart- they say home is where the heart is.  Actually, Miami is where I first started to sell my cookies- a Georgia Peach satisfying all sweet tooth cravings. My cousins, Nette and Nikki gave me that fire to go forth and heal all sweet tooth cravings. My first experiment was in my Aunt’s kitchen in Hollywood FL. I also like to cook, I love whipping up good wholesome meals but please don’t ask me for any recipes. For I just throw and use whatever I have in the pan or pot LOL.  Again, I am a true southern belle and I just LOVE to feed people!!!
